About AI Hope

We believe the AI transition should not be something that happens to people. With honest information and practical skills, most people can come out of it better off.

Our mission

AI Hope exists to help working people understand how artificial intelligence affects their jobs and to give them free, practical ways to adapt. We focus on the questions people actually ask: Will AI take my job? What should I learn? Which tools are worth my time? Where do I go next?

Most coverage of AI and work swings between hype and panic. The evidence supports neither. Research from the World Economic Forum, the International Labour Organization and the IMF points to large changes in tasks, uneven risks across jobs and countries, and real rewards for people who build AI skills. We translate that evidence into tools and plans anyone can use.

What we do

  • Measure: task-by-task AI exposure reports for common jobs, and an interactive checker for any role.
  • Teach: free learning paths, a curated video library and a prompt library for real work.
  • Guide: personal AI career plans and in-depth guides on careers, skills and job search.
  • Encourage: stories of AI used for good, and the AI Hope Challenge to celebrate readers' own wins.

Who we are

AI Hope is an independent online publication run by a small, remote team of writers, developers and contributors, with input from practitioners in the fields we cover. We are not affiliated with any AI company, employer or government. You can read how we research and correct our work in the editorial policy, and how we calculate exposure scores in the methodology.

How we are funded

Everything on AI Hope is free to use. We are funded by display advertising (Google AdSense), clearly labeled sponsorships, partnerships with learning providers for readers who opt in, and reader support through the Hope Fund. Advertisers and partners never influence our scores, rankings or editorial judgments.

Our principles

  1. Honest, not alarming. We describe risks plainly and avoid fear-driven headlines.
  2. Evidence first. We cite our sources and explain our assumptions.
  3. People over technology. AI is a tool. The goal is good work and good lives.
  4. Free and accessible. Core tools will always be free, readable on any device and usable without an account.
